Ingredients for making dulce de leche pot cake:

 2 cups of wheat flour (280 grams)

 2 cups of sugar (320 grams)

 1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)

 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature

 2 eggs

 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

 1 teaspoon of baking soda

 1 teaspoon of caramel essence (optional)

 1 pinch of salt

 1 can of dulce de leche

 chocolate sprinkles to decorate

How to make dulce de leche pot cake:

Start by gathering the ingredients. At this point, add lemon juice to the milk, to obtain homemade buttermilk (buttermilk) which helps to get a fluffier cake.

Then beat the butter with the sugar until it becomes a paste. Add eggs and beat again.

Little by little, and alternately, add the flour and milk. At this moment, if you want, you can also add the caramel essence, which will give a different and very tasty touch to this pot cake batter.

Finish with salt, yeast and baking soda, mixing lightly. Distribute dough into greased muffin pans or place in a greased rectangular pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 20-30 minutes.
